In anycase, I figured that maybe someone might be interested in seeing the projects I've been stuggling with in IT! This year, it's making games, which is kinda cool - that is, if the teacher would explain it.
In the past... month or so, I've just gone in limbo, trying to figure out what the hell everything means.
But now I have leveled up and is slightly less noobish in the ways of ActionScript.
Yay! Now I can actually do something cool with my Flash MX I have on my comp... even though, ultimately, laziness will overrule any motivation what so ever!
Attached is (hopefully) the game I'm working on right now as we speak. It's a simple shoot-the-bad-guy kind of game. You'll need Flash player to play it.
Here are the instructions (if you need it):
Move with the mouse.
Click to shoot.
Avoid the bad guy's (Juily's) flowers.
You have four lives, but that's kind of screwed up right now, so it's more like you have two lives (sometimes less; a flower could kill three).
The bad guy has four lives too, but it looks more like she starts off with three, and doesn't lose anymore.
...yeah, it was less messed up when I worked on it last class.
Yes, spelling, grammar, uploading screw up, any mistakes in general will be fixed once I get back home... and get my dad to give me my internet back.
(btw I'm pretty much done the major arcana of those tarot cards I talked about a long time ago, and by "pretty much", I mean I have 3 more cards to go until I'm really done.
Of course, this isn't considering the minor arcana... I haven't started any of the 56 cards at all. Damn research and historically-correctness)
BELATED EDIT: Okay, obviously, the whole attaching-a-flash-document-and-it-being-able-to-show-on-a-blog-post thing isn't working, so... um... I guess that means I'll upload it on my dA... whenever that will be...
