Con Updates

The Cos & Effect Artist Alley deadline as last Friday. I did make it in time, but I really don't think I stand a chance, especially with the stuff I submitted for them to see. Oh well, no matter. I did make some new stuff for it, though so here you go.

Ignis chibi

Well, no shit there was going to be Ignis. A big improvement to my old chibi of her, no? I think I should redo all my chibis in the chance I do get invited to AA again. I like how she turned out, though. No cheap-ass colouring this year. Just all cell-shading this time (minus the sword).

Who is this? You tell me. No, seriously, go tell me who you think he looks like so I can sell him off as part of that fandom. This is what happens when you don't properly read the rules and thus didn't see the part where the things you submit have to have the intention of being sold. Too bad I already drew this dude out, and spent a long time doing it!
Actually brought my sketchbook along to "work" (or really, career prep) as we hardly get any customers anyway. Whipped this up in one day and still tended to the people who were there. Got a lot of compliments for him, too.
I don't really like him, though. I need a reference desperately because I bullshitted my way through his muscles. Ugh.

 

This is actually a really old-ass picture I probably drew around summer. Even though it has nothing to do with anime at all, I figured it looked fantasy enough for someone to think it was from small, unknown game.
Actually, technically, this is based off a game. It's the game I was one of the concept artists in back two or three summers ago, I think. So I guess, in a sense, it could be considered fanart, except I'm one of the artists for it, so does that make it official art?
Would love to one day colour this bad boy in.
