And it practically looks like the one I showed you before.
But now you can see their faces.
Fuminori and Saya |
I originally also planned to show tendrils of her monster side, and Saya "blooming" in that monster thing at the end of the game (the ending where she turns everybody into monsters like her) but I just gave up. I'll show you how much of it I got done, though.
I gave up because it looked bad so I scrapped it.
Still looks alright, I guess, from afar. I kind of like the picture better with the background blank like this. |
Also like to mention that I tried to keep the colours less saturated than what I'm usually used to, and sicne they still look as lively as ever, I consider that a success. (Yup, artsy talk. You don't have to get it.)
Made in openCanvas.
First I have to say I really like this. I have no idea who these characters are, so I say this purly based on artist merit. I'll be honest though the color of the background drives me nuts. Sooo very PIIIINK XD! I would probably go for a darker red tone vs. pink/purple/magenta/okayIhavenorealidea
ReplyDeleteI really like those twisty vines, and you have a great sense of space and dimention. They really look like they occupy the same space, not an easy feat. (At least for me)
Sorry that the background colour is totally killing eyes! I originally planned to do something intricate with it, and used the pink/purple colour just as a base for whatever was going on top. But then the people took longer than expected so I went "whatever" and threw something half-assed.
ReplyDeleteBut I'm glad you like it! Especially since it seems like you know what you're doing as terms like "space" and "dimension" goes right over my head (thus the "amateaur" in my blog's subheading).
